Non residents can not hunt coyotes in saskatchewan. Must be a sask resident.

Yup, that is correct, you need to be a resident to hunt coyotes and even us residents can not hunt them in the northern trapping zones. Strange ( stupid ) thing is we don't even need a trappers license to shoot coyotes year round in the south but they will not allow non-residents to shoot them even while hunting whitetail deer in the south. Have no idea why ???

Randy doesn't shoot, he only videos and calls.
Wooley is an outfitter as well.

Does the same apply for private land in the south end of the province with land owner permission? I have family in the south and am curious how it would work if I wanted to go out and try my luck? Same rules apply?

Yup, Les Johnson was on one of his programs calling coyotes but his Sask resident buddy did the shooting. Strange outdated regulation I think.

You could buy land in saskatchewan and make it your primary residence. Not a very cheap way to go hunt a few coyotes in saskatchewan in my opinion.

Only way to hunt song dogs here in Sask for a non resident is getting permission from the chief of a reserve and hunt Rez land.
