Saturday Shed hunt

Went out Saturday for the afternoon and picked up these 21 sheds.Mostly fresh,two white-tails,one double brow tine

Nice pickins there DS. Wish I had the time to get out too!

We are still under 2 feet of snow in our country 3 in some areas of the bush where the sun can't get at it. Makes for some pretty tough hiking..

Looks like a pretty good haul...

I can't imagine finding that many in a year let a lone a day.

The secret is to just look.Keep an eye open in the winter to where they are feeding.

Im up to a half doz this yr. The wife has been working me like im rented though. Afew nice ones and a couple matched sets. And the big ones always get away.

Her's one I picked up yesterday. Would have made a good Jackalope prospect, If I could have found the other.

on the way into edmonton from spruce grove ( 1/4 mile or so) before the last motel on the south side of hwy 16, there is the remains of a road kill in the ditch i got a quick look as i passed and it looked to be in the 160 B&C range.head still attached and body half scaveneged.......good luck to the finder and please post if you pick it up..............me
