Used to get oolichans(like a smelt) from the salt chuck and fry them up covered in cracker crumbs in butter.The eyes were the prize.And lemon pie,Gawd I love lemon pie.Found a place here that sells Lemon cream cheese pie with whipped cream topping,happy I am.Now I got to go downtown and get me another.!

Inspired by you guys to make some Smoked Fiddleheads sandwiched with Cream Cheese and wrapped in Bacon and broiled.

With mustard .

Or real Klik ,from the can ..

Chili cheese burger from the Whip on Marion in the Peg .i miss those
Greeks .

I haven't had any of this for 25 yrs. food cravings are interesting .

Cheeze whiz and jam sammich

Or

Peanut butter and honey sammich

About 1963 -64 . After the pub 2:00 am .....Fatboy ,chips and chili
Best cure for a hang over , just burns it out . It was called Juniors
Before all the current juniors . One of the owners went on to own
TheRedtop . I have that chili recipe , smuggled out lol

I used to pound down the Monster Burger at Redtop-6 Patties on a sub bun-short walk from home.

Did I mention that I lived in Manitoba where I owned and operated a natural spring water company and ate more then my fair of Fat Boys at the Main Street location.

Must have eaten hundreds of them, every bite was Pure Joy!!!

Every now and then I get a hankering for those little cake donuts with a chunk of fried kielbasa (garlic) on top! I call them McBohunks. Dame they're addicting. Once started I go through a box of donuts and a ring of Kub!
