NAFA Lynx Cat vs Canadian Lynx?
The NAFA auction refers to Lynx Cat as well as different regions for Lynx. Western Lynx, Northern Lynx, etc. I've never seen Bobcat though. Is the Lynx Cat they refer to Bobcat?
Most of the Lynx Cat sold high today. In the $200-500 usd range. Was a crazy lot that went for $3700! I'm assuming a couple buyers having a "big gun" contest. Congrats to those with Lynx in the sale.

Maybe, I don't trap either of them. I just know that Lynx sell for a lot more than bobcat. Whichever one sells for more is Lynx and the other one is bobcat.

Yep lynx cat is the market name for bobcat and if you get a good one with a clear belly and nice black spots to go with its like hitting the jackpot. Hope they keep creeping north like the raccoons.

Oops, my bad. I thought that it was Lynx that sold high like that, not bobcat. Now I do have to google it.

NAFA must be in tight with the CFL. 7 teams and two of them are the Roughriders....up until recently. Interesting. Nonetheless, some pretty crazy prices at the auction. I missed "Canadian Lynx" so not sure how it went.

the whiter and wider the belly and larger cats bring more money and I believe the Tom's are preferred over female's as there are no milk spots, caused from kitten's nursing

Not bad if going for $2-$500.
I have a 36" Lynx from last Feb, skinned dorsal cut for taxi, frozen.
Bought the mannequin etc, just that price has me thinking now, ha.
