Default Snowblowers to recommend

I bought a Husqvarna just before Christmas and really happy with it. Its a 9.5hp with a 30 inch. It has started on first pull every time and I can change snow chute direction while turning. It also has the steering controls on each wheel which makes a sharp corner possible.

Where will you push the snow banks?
Will the wind & snow just drift into your cleared driveway?

Plowing the first snowfall is easy,
it gets a LOT harder when the frozen solid banks are higher than the moldboard of your plow.

An ATV works ok on small depths most don't bother clearing,
IMHO,when the snow falls deep they cause more problems than they solve.

Good Luck, YMMV.

I have a driveway that is 70 ft long. 18 years ago, I purchased a CDNTire 29" blower and it is still running today. Only parts I ever replaced on it were a headlight, scraper bar, skid shoes and a shear pin.
I gave it to my kids this winter and purchased a Husqvarna 24". The Husky throws snow further, has heated hand grips, better chute controls than the CDNTire machine did. And it has a throttle. Fairly easy to start even though I store the machines in a shed. I use synthetic oil to help with pulling them over.
