Default Rockey Mountain Whitetail

I have a live for the mountains, I was thinking of going after Whitetail in the mountains for a few years before moving on to Elk and Sheep. I would imagine that the deer would be as low as possible, but I could be wrong. Deer do some weird things, I might stumble across one up on a ridge one day too. Anyways, what could a guy expect for numbers around Blairmore? What's the pressure like for deer out there? Should a guy go high or low? I'm planning some spring and summer scouting this year. Figured I would do the extra work because we don't have Mountains back in Saskatchewan.

I am not sure about that area but did live in the EK for a while. The white where often found in cut blocks, often well up the mountain, I never saw any white tail way up in the natural open grass lands or alpine but anything is possible. Go check it out. Its real hot the sightings will likely only be in the cooler parts of the day.
