Shock Corded Fishing Rods

I have not purchased any new rods in about 10 years.

Went shopping for new combos yesterday for Mrs. Omega and my Grandson

Was surprised to see shock corded rods. Seems convenient for someone who would like their rod components to stay together

Life passes you by -I had no idea. but they have likely been available for years. I will go hide under my rock again and be blissfully unaware of the major advancements in society.
