Default Anyone have a silver lab?

I'm looking at getting another bird dog/ family pet, I mostly hunt upland birds. I have a 9 year old chocolate lab who is a awesome bird dog and also really easy going around no home, but as she is getting a little older I'm looking for a new pup. Just trying to see if anyone has a sliver lab and where they came from, the found a few breeders around Edmonton but haven't called yet. Thanks for your input

Mine came from the U.S. if I was to look for another I would call Smokin gun labs. They are in Raymond or Magrath A.B

I will get this in before the purest's on here start spouting that a Silver Factored Lab isn't a purebred Lab and so if a Silver Factored Labrador is what you want then I will 2nd Smokin Gun Labs. I have a 1 1/2 year old Black male from them, His mom is a Silver Factored Chocolate and his dad was a Charcoal. He is smart loyal and has the best temperament of any Labrador I have ever owned, The only thing that would make him a better dog is someone who is a better trainer then me...admittedly I suck at it but have managed to have a few good Labs over the years to hunt over.
If you want anymore info you can PM me.
I know a lot of the Silver pups I found in Alberta and even BC, when I was looking, originally where related to their dogs.

Our lab flint is about 9 now, got him from an outfit up around Sundre, second lab from them.
Really been a fantastic silver .
Sorry it's been awhile but could track down name if need be.
First dog in a long time that hasn't cost 2k a year in vet bills. Lol.

silver labs IMHO are just as good as black, chocolate or yeller labs I really like the white labs as well and isn't there a fox red lab too????
they can come in quite a few different shades
all in the same litter
just like a white boxer
the colour don't make them any better or worse then any other
its just the breed has kept up a standard and now the genetics of different shades are showing up more and more
nothing wrong with them at all , I like the difference especially the lighter or white ones,
I think a white one would be great to have in spring snow goose season
I just came across that read and thought it was interesting, and thought I would share it that all my intention was, wasn't to knock them down
sorry if I offended you
