i looked at them 3 yrs a go at brothers 2 small engines store , at that time there was nothing available with electric start, and the advertised price and actual price differed by a few hundred dollars, as well there is zero suspension because your either on skis , toboggan, or wagon , probably great if you are 20 yrs old and bones are still soft and you heal quickly ,, i went for tracks on the quad and thats as rough as i want to get

It's a "novelty" item.

Might be of some use in dragging out firewood?

As far as hunting? Useless.

Ice fishing? Meeeeeh.

It wouldn't make it through slush.

Pretty tough to beat a snow machine in winter.

If you want something small and maneuver able get a 300 Tundra. Or an old Bravo.

I think they were designed by an inventive Slav, short on funds, but with some DIY skills. Old sled track, small engine, and some sort of chassis and drive system to be repurposed. Price is getting high for what it is. And it tends to be a bit limited. If you were to DIY, it'd be a sweet hobby machine, but not as capable as other equipment. The low ground pressure machine pulling its load behind it, isn't the most efficient way to put its relatively low power to the ground.

I see no reasonable use for this machine. You can buy a new Quad for about the same money. Far more comfortable and a whole bunch more capable. Put a small trailer behind the quad and you can haul way more whatever than this rigs is capable of. I agree with the other guys, someone putzing around may make one of these cheap enough but at 5 Grand, I'll pass.

My thought "A good putts around the yard machine". Many times you need momentum to climb a high ridge, eg; sled pulling calf sled loaded with gear or elk etc. Note it can only pull half the load on snow per their specs.

Looks like a modern version of the Bolens Hus-Ski. My friend has one that his dad bought 40 plus yrs ago. He restored is all nice and new as a memory of his pops. Cool to ride as well. Slow slow slow lol.
