This does not sound like a war at all. Just a focus from the governments spending agenda. Alberta leads in green energy sounds like the government wants to focus on one of our biggest sectors, i.e. spend more money here.
How is that war, they've already bought the pipeline and are pushing it through slowly...
If anything this seems like a distraction tactic to hide the fact they're still building the trans x.

Think big. Really big. I just finished watching an hour video of the United Nations 2030 plan. Now simply called Agenda 2030 (because one world government was deemed scary). It is a very impressive set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with targets and measurable indicators meant to transform the world.
On the surface it is hard to argue with their Utopia. The "twenty-seven 8 x 10 coloured glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explainin' what each one was" (Thank you officer Obie ) packaging is extremely slick and enticing. Don't we all want to end poverty and hunger? Have education, equality, and clean drinking water.
Freeland says she wanted a restart plan that was green, fair and inclusive. Trudeau believes “This is our chance to build a more resilient Canada, a Canada that is healthier and safer, greener and more competitive, a Canada that is more welcoming and more fair,”
The problem is thus: HOW is the bill to be paid, and WHO shall pay it?
The human condition is naturally flawed. It is a combination of virtue and vice, nobility and corruption. People are swayed by both reason and passion. We see multiple examples of this daily. All one has to do is read the threads on the first page of "General Discussion".
How will this end? As all artificially grand gestures usually do. Great for some, poor for most.

Actually it’s tried before via socialism, communism. Equality, end poverty, no homeless. Results failure, death by millions, oppressive government control.
No I am willing to fight for freedom vs equality. Oppression.

Exactly. Full blown Socialism does not work for the masses. Full stop. End of story. Give it a new name, a new face, a new makeover. It will always end in the suffering of the people.
People are optimists. This a good thing. Thinking that those who felt pain when hitting their thumb with a hammer were "just doing it wrong" it irrational plainly wrong.

Can’t tell if you are joking or serious. Regardless I encourage anyone who hates oil to try and go without it for a year. Especially in Canada. Shut off your heat, toss out your shoes, most of your clothes and start walking everywhere. Oil and gas is used to make everything. Do your part and stop your consumption. We will only make what the world requires. Rather than blame the producer the consumer needs to do the work as they are the cause.

Wrong again. 34.5% voted for Scheer , 33% voted for Trudeau. Conserva gained most seats in federal election. Along with Parti Québécois. Liberals, NDP suffered big losses. However not enough to cause a change in governments. But a minority elected government.
Shut down CBC media, the mouth of the globalists, (Green energy), and the vote would changed dramatically.
Media is the tool to discredit conservative thinking. Shut the, down with force, and stop giving them taxpayers money. Admit politics is nasty business. All about power. Not about the people. The people need to stand up and punish politicians For overpromising and under delivering. Jail sentences, death. Fear needs to be instilled by the people towards there governments. This is only solution. This way lobbyists won’t win.
