Andis, I bought a set of clippers for my dog. Works for me as well. This is pro grade stuff.

Are you trimming upstairs or downstairs? I have a heavy duty Wahl clippers for shaving my head. I'm sure they were way under $100. It's bigger than your typical beard trimmer. I think i just picked it up at Walmart a couple years ago. I don't think I'll ever wear them out.

Default Best electric hair clippers

Any set of clippers by "WAHL" will probably last you a lifetime. I've been using mine for the past 13 or more years without fail.

I just bought a new one to replace a 20 year old set. The blades weren’t quite as crisp as they once were. However they likely have another 10 years of life left in them. They weren’t dull by any stretch.

People cut their own hair or let family members do it? Jeez. Explains some of what I see out there tho. Nice Cletus cuts.

Get a Flo-Bee. I hear they're really good. If you nick yourself good you can buy some Popiel spray on hair. I hear it's really good too.

I cut my own & use a set of Wahl trimmers, they work great. Around $50. I also use the plug in ones as they have more power and won't die halfway through like cordless.

Phillips from Costco. My Wahl corded are fantastic but I wanted batfery powered to stop having to string out a cord and the Phillips have far exceeded my expectations. Battery life is fantastic as well, I ha e them for 3 years and charged them maybe 4 times. I shave my head, normally, every couple of weeks.
