Default Choosing an anchor for a small river boat

I'm trying to figure out what my best anchor option is for a 12 or 14 foot aluminum that will be running lakes and rivers (nsr, athab, wab).
I have a traditional Canadian tire vinyl wrapped 15 (I think) lbs anchor that is already under whelming when trying to anchor down in 3 foot swell and 25 km/h winds.

I'm hoping to find an anchor that will allow me to l hook up and jig in rougher water as well as latch down above a back eddie on Alberta's wider rivers.

Thouvhts/links?

If you’re talking about those 2 pc navy anchors, they suck at holding in any kind of wind or current. Try a 15-20 lb 3 blade river anchor. I have a 30 lber for my 16’ jetboat and it works good. When the wind picks up, sometimes I have to throw a second anchor out (the Digger for lakes).

Rope length is also a big factor with anchor. Most anchors can be rendered useless with too short of a rope.

Add a few feet of chain from anchor to rope.

Im going to have a nice setup for sale soon.

15lb galvanized claw anchor with breakaway
Anchor caddie with roller mounted to a minn kota quick release bracket.
Two lengths of galvanized chain
100' of 1/2" rope
Mesh rode bag with bouy

This is a great setup for a smaller boat. Had no issue anchoring my 16.5ft jetboat all last year even in the high water.

Im going to full stainless windlass setup like the fraser boats so gonna sell this setup soon.
