Heard 50 bugles in the last 2 days and called in a spike on a rope from 300 to 35. Wasn't sure it was really a thing but man have they been active.

We had bugles last weekend just young Bulls coming in though

Hunted elk on Monday the 14th and the bulls were bugling pretty good. Herd bull had about 65 or 75 elk gathered with him. Mostly cows, but probably a dozen or so other bulls of various ages also mixed among the group. The herd bull was the most worked up. Some other bulls were bugling, some not at all. Called in 3 separate bulls to within bow range but wasn't able to put it together.

Heard bugles both morning and evening today.

Ive seen more bulls in the last 4 days then in many seasons. Bulls have been screaming like hell in 212. But also the big boys have grouped up already. Herds are consolidated back into very large herds
