Default Daysland pheasant releases

I’m interested in hearing observations about the way birds are released at Daysland. Are they released at various places around the property or at a central place? It’s a pretty big site, so I hope they get sprinkled around.

From what i have seen they are spread out all over, seen 5 birds last weekend mostly on the outer edges but there were tons of shots from the middle.

When I watched the release a couple of years ago, they released all of the birds in one location. I don't know if that is still the situation at Daysland. But regardless of where they are released, they don't stay in one area, some don't even stay on the release site.

At times some don't even get their feet on the ground before they're shot!

And that unfortunately is true, some people want their two bird limit as quick as possible, and they could care less about actually hunting for them.
