I know this young guy too. I took him hunting with me when he was just getting started. Very happy for him as well.

I have nothing against the industry but I dont agree with this from a management stand point. There is no way to know the animals that were not taken by GOs this season will survive and carry over to following years populations. It sucks they were impacted by border closures but carrying over tags is a poor way to correct it

Mother Nature can beat on game numbers at anytime and promising future quota that can be effected by unknown events is not wise

Each outfitter has so many allocations they pay for these every year, I dont see how this will affect there number of tags .I think the US CANADA border will be closed till 2022 imo.

Supposed to?
According to who?

Alberta does not allow Outfitters to spread their allocations over multiple years.

Outfitters already received a huge back room favor in contradiction to the Outfitter Agreement, allowing them to sell to Residents for a couple years.
No need to ask for more candy.

Agreed. The tags it used should never get carried over.
I suppose an outfitter could accumulate tags until they have lots
Then sell the outfitting company with all those tags. Imagine the damage that could do to animal population in a zone?

Thats the info I was given from a board member of apos
Where you at the meeting too??

I dont have a problem with making an exception due to what has happened
To numerous industries.
I think its about time that alberta resident could hunt allocations in our own province. If your willing to fork out the money, why not?
If select groups of people can hunt anything, anytime, any place. Why should average residents be restricted?
