Question Salvage Title

Hey guys,

I couldn't find an answer talking to a few people.
My truck was rear ended and written off.
I bought it back but need an inspection to deem it worthy to drive again.

Where does one get an inspection done and how much does it usually cost to get one done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Lethbridge.

Thanks!

Most auto dealers or Can Tire can do that inspection but be prepared to fork over more money for repairs that otherwise you would not have done. Whatever the inspection report comes up with you will have to repair before you can re license the truck. Be prepared for some work being done that normally would not be an issue. Good luck

I found this to be the case when I had a similar issue.

Agree. The inspection is picky and covers a bunch of stuff body and mechanical that may or may not be part of the collision damages that wrote off the vehicle. Good thing is that when your done, that piece of paper will help you sell it down the road should you run into someone who asks if it was ever in a crash.
