Default first snared yote

First snared yote this mornin pretty tickled to say the least any hoo his tail is a bit ratty not sure if its from fighting the snare around thorny bullberry bushes or a touch of mange rest of the fur looks great any thoughts?

Looks good except for the tail but they don't matter anyways. Congrats

Thanks nube thot mayb some mange but im thinking its from all the thorny bush

Congrats, feels good doesn't it. My heart still jumps when I think I see a coyote in one of my snares. Theres a brown chunk of wood near one of my snares that gets me everytime still lol

That looks like a real nice dog and to me the tail doesn't look all that bad.

Excited isnt the word for it ..tail looks better now that hes all skinned and brushed out

Nice looking dog buddy , tail is from burrs and brush .. A rush to see the first one in a snare isn't it ?

Congrats!

The tail is indicative of the pelt grade. This is a burdock damaged coyote, you can see some stuck in the tail, probably did more than his fair share of rubbing against rosebushes and other such nasty vegetation. He might grade as a damaged coyote due to the hair damage/hair loss, look at his grotzen and sides.
