Default Downtown Calgary hotel for guys with big trucks

Hi all, I need to stay in downtown Calgary for a couole nights. My truck is tall (F350) and I never seem to fit into parking garages at hotels. Any recommendations for hotels with safe parking that can handle a taller rig? Thanks!

Not sure where downtown you need, but the Exec suite has parking for trucks. It can be tight, but its right across the road from an above ground Impark lot.

Downtown Calgary is a high risk area, not a place to park over night.

Or for a more "real Cowtown" experience you could try the Ambassador on 16 ave ne, there are always people milling about the parking lot all night looking to make some extra cash.

I'm sure they would watch your vehicle for tips in addition to there wage.

I am not really sure who they work for but are a diverse group of folks.

I've parked high value vehicles overnight all over downtown at night without so much as a door ding. Red Deer is far more risky than DT Calgary. Hell I would say on-street parking is the safest. Short of parking anywhere in Victoria Park or 13th ave Centre St area you're good. Don't leave obvious valuables out like things stuck to your windshield or in the box.

Delta Bow Valley Hotel James Short and Livingston Place parkade are 6'8". Hyatt is 6'6"

That's all I got.

The Sheraton Suites at Eua Claire is right downtown and has lots of secure parking. It is also a great hotel close to a ton of amenities and away from the rougher part of downtown. Contact them re accommodating your F350 but I know they can park a suburban no problem.

I drive a dually (no its not Black... LOL) and I park in the Impark lot beside the International every day. There are always big trucks parked there, guys come in from the field etc. See them every day. I haven't heard of any issues but of course there is always a chance, no matter where you park.

Check with the Delta downtown. It's been years since I stayed there so i might be off but I seem to recall their underground parkade having really high doors and room for larger vehicles on the first level.
