where does fuel originate from in western canada?
Where does the fuel you buy at the pump in western canada originate from?
No one is allowed to correct anyone and the answers can be made by city name. If you dont know where it comes from state foreign imports.

Depends on what your looking at. It's safe to assume all petro Canada locations receive fuel from suncor Edmonton refinery. Any esso location probobly receives fuel from Esso strathcona refinery. And any shell fuel comes from scotford.
Now that doesn't mean all the fuel comes from these places but a vast majority dose.

There are also places like Gibson energy, or kinder Morgan that supply fuel to other stations. These are all in the Sherwood park/Edmonton/fort sask area

Be careful with the Houston fuel, the water content might be a little over spec.

I love riddles. Riddles with rules are even better .....
Can wait to hear why everyone here is wrong (even though a few answers here are correct).

My wife had some one from sherwood park that was adamant all the oil went down south then was refined down there before coming back to canada. It seems crazy, but that is a common notion even in edmonton and area.

EDM, Suncor/Petrocan, Imperial/Esso, Shell/Scotford. FT Mac Suncor side stream diesel. Lloyd Husky, Regina Coop, BC Chevron. However Big Oil uses excuse fuel is priced on Nimex in New York, then can raise price whenever and where ever they want in North America. A long weekend etc provides a high volume mark up opportunity for lots of $$$.
