Need a short haired whitetail cape

Hope nobody minds me posting this here, I tried the buy and sell section but was only offered long haired late season capes.

What I am looking for is a earlier season whitetail cape from a mature whitetail. Ideally tube skinned, in good condition and treated properly. Raw or commercially wet tanned doesn't matter. If you have one you would part with, let me know. I am in Athabasca, but am in both Devon, and Lloydminster fairly often.

Did you try calling some taxidermists sometimes they have extras,I know a buddy and I have given them to them before .

what size cape are you looking for?

I want a cape from a mature deer say 150 class and up.

You using it for an actual cape or for other reasons such as Fly tying? ...

Reason I ask is I have/had serious fly tying guru's look for exact same and DO have wet tanned pieces laying around!!

Archery season would definitely be the time to round one up...
