I have stopped asking myself this very question years ago...

I swear hunting/fishing store break in's have increased tenfold over the past year or so.

Also some Bowtech bows and Swarovski binos and spotting scope, these guys need to be found and dealt with ,let your local bow shops know to keep an eye out and hope they don't get hit, a big inconvience for our venders and friends.

A real shame....with bear season around the corner and opening a sweet brand new store....I hope they catch who is responsible.

There has been a lot of this going on lately. Has any of the scum been caught? All these bows got to show up sooner or later you'd think

These places are easy to break into and with how easy it is to sell products online its easy cash for these scum bags.
I don't know about most but I have bought some stuff on the fourm and have never checked the SN's, things like scopes and binos. Other than with your local police station where could you check if an item was stolen.....then what if you bought a stolen item you are the one out the cash.
High value things that aren't registered or don't need to be registered are easy to pawn off and sell online.

It sucks for Jim bows and hope their deductible isn't too high. Does anyone know if they posted the SN of the stolen bows or binos?

Jim said it is a pretty ridiculous deductible. Also said hoyt SNs are just on stickers so not a lot of hope on that one. One of the idiots got his face on camera though. Here's hoping. Cops are asking other business in the area for tapes too trying to get a license plate number.

Watched the video last night, in and out in 3:20. they shoved 30 hoyts in the back of a dinky little car. I hope they catch the bastards.

I can garentee these dirty little F@#ks have been in the shop and scoped the good bows out, i would not be surprised if they find out there had been in very recently.
it would not be surprising if some of them ended up on sale here.

About a 15 years ago I had a tractor and trailer stolen out of my yard, there was a skid of Browning Bows on the trailer along with many other goodies. The tractor and trailer was discovered a few days after the heist but none of the cargo was ever recovered. Chain saws, electronics, household materials etc. All vanished.

I hope they catch these bandits, but when they do they won't do anything.

I wonder if a camera outside videoing the front door would be a helpful tool...I know how hard these guys work to have their shops and stock reflect the needs of the customer, I feel for all affected by this pure BS.

Probably not, and it would only serve to pizzz you off more. I had cameras, and we could see them steel the tractor trailer. When they have hoodies up and wearing ball caps pulled down, there was no chance of identifying the punks.

It was like adding insult to injury watching them pry the door open on the cab, and drive away. When the truck was recovered they had jammed a screw driver into the ignition and started it that way. Screw driver was still inside. The cops couldn't find any traceable finger prints or anything. They told me it was an inside job too making it even more difficult to deal with.

I don't think they can because cops have footage and guess still under investigation, cause I said the same thing.
