Default Brass annealing

Just doing a little market research . How many of you handloaders would have an interest in having your cartridge brass annealed by an outside source ? I'm considering a commercial annealing unit but cannot justify the expense for the few that I do for my own use. No firm price as yet but likely in the area of $0.15 -0.20 each for clean brass, depending on size.

Your responses appreciated. Thanks

Would one have to worry about a law suit if a case ruptured? Might be a bad thing if that happened.
Would be my biggest concern.

You're right ! That's why I have a lawyer. Just wondering if there was any interest in that type of service.

I am a big supporter of annealing, and I like to do my own. So no interest in farming it out here, but thanks.

I anneal, yes, but do my own or for friends only.
I don't think myself that there would be much of a market for it....

Default market

I'm thinking if you are going to offer a service it would include brass trimming, chamfer, deburr, anneal, then tumble. Now you have something that some folks might want to pay for. guys with weatherby brass or some of the other more expensive product. FS

What about custom reloading. Wonder if there would be a market for that?

There is a big market for it... Enough to keep businesses like "Custom reloading products" and "Canadian BDX" as we'll as another fella who's name escapes me at the moment working full time to keep up... Issues are insurance, marketing, location of business, raw material costs and a hefty overhead... I think the last estimate on Gunputz was ballparkd around 2mil to start commercial production of several calibers and a few years to get the permits in place to do it.

I on the other hand pickup 1F brass from my local range and process all the .223 on dillon equipment...
decap
sonic clean
FL resize and check with sammi spec gauge
Inspect for damage
Swage primer pockets
Pack in 100rnd bags by head stamp

Then I often trade it to others on forums for other brass I would otherwise need to buy or components for making my own reloads...
