Default Coyote Problem..in town

Last night I was admiring my newly minted outdoor rink, lights twinkling off the ice. A slight movment caught my attention and at first I though it was a stray cat, one of many I've become aquainted with and that help keep the mouse population down in my yard. But this was far too large and dog looking to be a cat, it was Wile E. himself, probably fixing to eat up my 3 year old son (protective psycho father voice).

I called F&W and the town with no reasonable solution as yet, can't put my Parker Hale to use in town, any suggestions to discourage this F'er from coming any nearer or at all. Yard is 3 sides fenced but since we back on to the golf course we were debating about the chainlink on the back (decision is now made)

Thanks for reading

Paintball guns filled with pepper balls work wonders as well.

You have a problem that probaly wont resolve itself until the coyotes pair and den.If they are finding treats along the route they will continue until taken out or nature gets them to a territory/denning site.
