Default trout streams creeks and rivers

weres are some good trout streams creeks or rivers that dont require a boat and have good success rates? i want to fish a stream or creek or river not a stocked pond (well not anymore) i would like it to be fairly close 45min maxium. i see alot of little streams and creeks on the fishing regulation maps like whitemud creek, and all sorts of other ones. do these hold fish? preferably trout but goldeye and rockies are ok.

Your best bet for a trout stream would be around Rocky Mountain House. Not much close to Edmonton for trout streams.

Prairie Creek, North Raven (Stauffer), Clearwater River would be a good start, but are about 90 minutes from Edmonton.

North Saskatchewan is good and local. Lots of info on what/where to fish on the board. Goldeye's are always fun and relatively easy to catch.

Hope this helps.
