Default 438 Rams

It is into the second season now..... has anyone heard of a ram going down in 438 during the lottery draw seasons thus far?

Read somewhere that they are almost gone and quality is declining and it’s not even worth hunting the once in 10 lifetimes tag. Most people probably heard similar things and didn’t bother to go out.

That was a nice ram. I still can’t believe I had to pass on that broomed ram. Oh well, next time

Rams shouldn’t be easy yet everyone wants a huge ram without the work. Guys who are lazy say that the herd is declining...which it may be. However I know of at least two book rams that came out of there last year and that’s more than can be said about anywhere else in the province.

Sheepdip....

The Cadomin herd is declining in both population size and horn size of the rams.
This is not conjecture based on personal effort. This is reality.

I know of several Alberta book rams from last year that came from well away from Cadomin. Does that prove anything?

Now, back to the regularly scheduled programming, hopefully.

Good luck on the slopes!
