I haven't recovered many over the years but here are the three I have.

180 blue box federal. 50 yards on a moose. Don't remember where I hit him.

150 scirocco 2 from a 280ai. 150 yards bull elk. Through lungs / liver found under hide.

180 ttsx from a 300rum. 100yards on bull elk. In front shoulder and under hide near the back of the elk.

All .308 Federal Fusion 165 grain bullets.

Far left came out of a cow elk in 2012. 300 yards on the nose. Hit rib on both sides, stuck in hide on offside just behind shoulder.

Second from left came out of a whitetail doe. About 180 yards, hit shoulder bone going in. Recovered bullet from hide in offside.

Two on the right are from my bull moose last year Far right was the first shot taken at about 220 yards. Bull was looking towards my right and the bullet blew the ball at the top of his main leg bone (front right leg) completely apart. I lost some meat due to bone chips
Second shot (second from left) he had run a ways off (maybe 20 yards) and turned facing the other direction. Shot broke left shoulder blade into 3 pieces. Each bullet was recovered from the other side.

It was a far poke, a follow up shot. First shot was at about 600yds and hit the buck a little far back, liver area. The deer ran about 150yds then stopped just before the drainage ditch between the field and the bush. Second shot was a head shot (not intentional) and the buck dropped. This was shot out of my Cooper 280 by a friend of mine. I found the bullet when I was capping out the skull. Went in just above the right eye.

I imagine the bullet was traveling a little below the recommended speed at the time
