I love hamburger helper.
When I was a poor young Batchelor, hardly able to scrape up enough money for beer, I would fry a pound of ground beef, and dump in a can of mushroom soup, and stir it around until it was all hot.
Sometimes I'd eat it on toast, some times I'd eat it on it's own.
I figured hamburger helper was a frivolous extra expense.

Hamburger Helper Potato Stroganoff, my fav. Can't ever seem to find it around the stores I shop, other flavors are ok but this is the one I remember eating a lot of at home growing up. Mom always used moose burger.


We also ate hotdogs and burgers with white bread lol

We actually have that couple of times a month at our place! Except we brown the hamburger in the pan first. Really yummy.

Yep same thing here. Mix it in with rice or pasta. Sometimes do the same with store bought meat balls as well.

Or brown up some hamburger and mix in with mac and cheese.

Fast meals when in a hurry or just to lazy to cook.

I thought I was the only one. I Grew up on toasted peanut butter and tomato sandwiches.😋 My dad’s favourite. I had one today for lunch.

Ha I was wondering when a Aussie was going to get on the old Vegemite vs. Marmite arguement lol. Far as l'm concerned both are equally barf worthy.

Used to have a desert that was whipped and chilled cream of wheat porridge made with garden raspberry juice served in a bowl with milk poured over it if wanted. Thinking about it might have to make it always did like it

i remember fried spam, spork, sardines (there was another name when we caught them fresh). terrible stuff. one of the weirdest, toasted jam sandwiches to school in the lunch kit. i thought they were good, the alternative must have been worse.
