Default Rifle value for my relative in Denmark

Just got back visiting Denmark for the last month and my cousin wanted to know if this particular rifle would be worth selling as he is getting up there in age and must start selling his collection. He was never big on researching things, if he liked it he bought it. He has quite a collection as well he has 2 skeet ranges and has Europe's largest archery course with over 65 target setups throughout his forest, but thats another story. Here are the pics, and was wondering if anyone would have some insight on this particular winchester. It has never been fired.

Does he have the original box it came in? The commemoratives with few exceptions usually fit in the $650-850 price range. Some can fetch upwards of $1200-1500 if mint in original box with all paperwork that came with at time of purchase to the right collector.

They are not as rare as one would think/hope.

Not sure if he has the box, I will ask, does that increase the value?

Its one of the nicer ones I have viewed. At least it is not gold. Those things fit right in with mirror dice and brylcreem.

lol

I've been told by an experience gun show organizer & dealer that Winchester
rifles -commemorative or not- bring more $ in the US market.
