I have used it on a Savage Axis, but never a Axis 2.

What has changed with the Axis 2? Is it just the new trigger?

They post all the measurements on their website; do some measuring and compare.

I have a short action prairie hunter in the safe, and a long action thumbhole in the mail (should arrive in a couple days). If you want me to compare actual measurements, I could probably do that for you.

I do believe it's the same gun just with accutrigger. I was just wondering if the trigger would fit inside the Boyd's trigger guard. That's my biggest concern. Maybe I'll have to contact Boyd's.

best to contact them, I think you get a new trigger guard from boyds on the axis stocks if memory serves me correctly

Yes, your memory does serve you correctly.

How about some pictures of your rifles that wear boyds stocks?
