That's cooking. I'm only getting around 3080 out of mine, although since it's shooting so good, I never really worked to get it going faster. Haven't taken an animal with that load yet though.
I had great results with 140tsx in my 270 win, at just under 2900fps. Good expansion judging by the exit holes, and complete penetration at around the 300yd mark on a couple elk.
I tried a few different powders in it and found that the rl17 provided best velocities and was in the .7 .8 three shot groups with little effort. Worked very well and a load that I would feel comfortable taking any animal in the province with.

RL17 is awesome stuff. I use it with the 168ttsx in my 300wsm T3 at 3275fps. . This will be my first season with that gun and it should work awesome. I also use it in my new 270 wsm T3 with 129lrx and it gets 1/2 moa @3430fps
