Default Drum magazine for 10/22

Are drum magazines for 10/22's legal? I think the capacity is over 100 LR.

Yep, no problem with drums on 10/22. Avoid the Promag ones. The GSG 110 rd drums are the way to go.

I believe prophet river shows them on their website. I haven't heard of anyone that was real happy with them FWIW. I would guess a speed loader would be a must.

I doubt a speed loader would work very well to load the gsg. Mine worked 100% when it was new but I think it is getting some dust build up internally from riding in my truck, it will jam once or twice per 110 rds now.

The drum mags look pretty heavy ... I would be quite happy with the Ruger made 25 rnd mag, but I guess they still are on the "no" list? Have tried the Butler Creek steel lips, but it has a loose fit in my VQ.

Speed loaders won't work with my GSG. The spring is to heavy in the drum. But it functions great, jams less often than steel lips. Heavy and slow to reload, but dang is it cool. Worth the $110 from prophet river imo. Cabelas carries them as well.
