Default Forester Neck Reamer?

Anybody know who might carry a .264 Forester neck reamer? Can't seem to find anything online at least in Canada. Thanks

Just buy lots of stuff to make the shipping justifiable. :-)

Thanks, Quert. Tried calling Wholesale sports as it is not listed online, but can never get through. Who is IIRC?

If I Recall Correctly

In My Humble Experience, telephoning the gun counter at WSS is usually an exercise in frustration, sometimes (but not usually) you can get the girl from the front to walk to the back and check stock. Not often a help to ask for the manger, as they also seldom answer.

If you are trying to remove a 'donut' inside the shoulder / neck junction, you might consider the K&N outside neck turner with the cutter on the end of the mandrel. Ask DaleJ for more info.

Good Luck, YMMV

Ok, I had to chuckle when I read your reply Qwert. As you can probably tell I ain't to savvy about this whole forum linguistic thing. And I too normally avoid trying to call WSS but thought I would give it another shot, nothing has changed.
Yes I am trying to remove a donut and will try DaleJ on the K&N turner. Thanks again.

IIRC, there was a recent AO thread about neck turning & tools, I do not recall the subject but a search on neck turning or in DaleJ's recent posts will find it. There were several good links posted to other sites with good info.

Good Luck, Your Mileage May Vary

hbohnet,

I've been rummaging through my shop looking for Forester .264" NK reamer. I was going to donate the darn thing but can't find. I know I have a full set in all the calibers but they were really put away. I don't use the reamers anymore as outside NK turning makes better sense. I have splined NK pilots for K-M outside turning tool but I use them frequently.

If you're in the Peace River area I'd be happy to help you. Your signature line doesn't say where you're from. Hope you aren't bad dude in hiding.

Thanks for the reply and the offer. I have done a bunch of reading on the k&m turners and ordered a pilot and expander from Joe at RPS. A local club member has one that I can use. Looks like a much better rig than the forrester. And no I am not in hiding although sometimes I wish I was.
Thanks again, Harry from Canmore
