Default Light rust on barrels of shotguns

What the best way to get some light rust spots of the barrels of a couple of shot guns that were left outside for a few nights and collected some dew?

Tipton Gun Bright Metal Cleaning Pad works great and seems to clean rust with less damage to bluing than steel wool. See link. I am not sure if they carry this product but P&D and Rayner'Shine carry Battenfield/Tipton products.

You need a hot tub, Chevy Chase, and a Russian energy drink and it's very possible.
