Trail cam jack-pot
Checked that same trail cam from last week again today, and nearly fell down in the bush when I saw the second clip. 8 years of trail cam'ing and I finally hit the big one. With the kicker off his brow, my kid called him a 7x6, so be it.
First clip is a 5x5 following the cows, see him peeking in from the lower left before he runs by, then the next clip there he was.
Amaizing the mist from their bodies and the mass weight of this bull, wow.

Wow. Thanks for sharing - got my heart racing. I've never personally seen a video from a trailcam before.

What type of camera?
Can you tell us what brand of camera that was? I really like the video now that I've seen it and would love to pick one of those up.
Thanks
Brandon

I am willing to bet it is his own brand, Treebark Cameras.

Wow. Amazing. My trail cams have video options, but no sound!! I didn't know they came out with sound now! What camera is that??? The fact that you can hear the hoofs hitting the ground is amazing to me. Good quality video too.

It’s not a base Treebark unit. Night IR with true sound is a tough combo to build. This unit is a custom DXG unit. It was built for me by a fellow in Florida.
Still testing it. It may have cold weather issues but we’ll see in the next few months. I have 2 China cameras out there too. Not expecting too much from those but we’ll see.
Never caight up to this pocket of elk, no bugles either, strange.

I know the area I've been hunting has wolves howling quite often, maybe that's why your not hearing anything!

Great vids, the 1st vid looks like the elk know the camera is there and the bull bringing up the rear goes out of his way to go around the camera. Is it pitch black when this unit is filming or do you think they can see something?

Wow, that's inspiring. Really cool how you can see the steam linger after they are gone.
They were really on the move... That one cow looked like she was trying to catch her breath there for a bit.
Go git 'im!

that was awesome, love the sound I have been testing the video's on my cams but no sound, let us know how it does in the cold. The area I have been hunting haven't heard any bugling or cows and they are not responding, but know they are there have seen them several times.

He's a nice bull but I don't think he's in that 360-370 range. I'd estimate somewhere around 310. Let us know after you get him.
