I bought a case of one gallon jars from Uline last fall.
Price was reasonable and delivery was to my local post office.

Only drawback is they only sell by the case, 4 jars.

stock number S-19317M
size, 1 gallon
Opening 4"
price 5.10 per case, 4 jars

Pickling jars come in sizes up to 2 gallons. They used to make bigger but haven't seen any of the 3-5 gallon ones for a while. Most Canadian Tires and Walmarts sell jars t oabout a gallon but if you can't find real big ones call these guys.

Are you looking for canning jars I think you are on the right track checking thrift stores and Value Village assuming you don't want to pay through the nose for them

Are they for canning or for storage? I found some large ones with those wire cam-locks and gasketed lids at the Bay a few months back. I don't know the size of ours but they've got to be this size or bigger. Drawback: not cheap, good to watch if they go on sale.

Army and Navy on Whyte Ave had some nice gallon jars last year cause I bought 2. Pretty sure they would still have the same.
