Default Buddy Heaters

Looking at the 2 Mr Heater Buddies for this upcoming hunting / ice fishing season. Anyone have the Hunting Buddy? Does the 1lb bottle last a few hours at least? Spec online says it burns .5lb per hr. @6000-12000 btus. The regular buddy heater will last 3-6hrs on the same bottle, but only be 2000 btus less (on the lowest setting i assume)

I got the little buddy and the hunting buddy heater not sure the sizes compared to the one you want. But the bigger hunting buddy burns through the bottle pretty fast about an hour. But they do work really good. If possible I would get a 20# bottle and hose and then it would be really nice. But if your packing that's not an option lots of the time.

I have the lttle buddy for my small fishing shack. I would guess at 5-6 hrs. I bottle wouldn't last 2 days on the ice. The adapter, filter and hose for 20lb would be cheaper long term, the 1 lb are $6 now.

Ive been saving used 1lb bottles to refill. Easier to back a couple in the ice fishing sled, but the 20lb bottle for sure in camp.

I have the big buddy and a adapter to refill the 1lb bottles. The two bottles last pretty for ice fishing.

The big buddy comes with the fan and in the big eskimo fatfish that I have it makes a difference!
