Default WMU 936 (Blackfoot)

Do animals from the Blackfoot qualify for B&C?

Becuase of the high fence, and rules of fair chase.

I know the deer can clear that fence, I've seen it done. Pretty sure the elk can too, and I wouldn't bet against moose either. That being said, who knows what B&C would say.

I have seen groups of elk clear the fence at Blackfoot on more than one occasion. I have seen whitetails go both over and under the fence. Once I saw a rut heavy moose walk repeatedly into the fence trying to get through. The area is 96 square kilometres, much of it with heavy cover. I think less deer hunting pressure there than other areas this close to Edmonton plus low success rates for deer = most definitely fair chase in my view.
