Problem: Powder inside RCBS Chargemaster Scale

Hello,

I recently purchased an RCBS Chargemaster 1500 Combo scale. I've been very happy with it but I spilled some powder down into the weighing area (below the weigh pan). It was probably only a few kernels of powder (Varget) but I can hear it inside the scale now and cannot get it out.

Anyone else have this problem before? Was thinking of trying to vacuum it out but not sure if that will wreck the load cell.

Any suggestions are welcome.

It's happened to me as well. Just turned over and shook,it til the powder came out the hole the weigh pan goes into.

I tried that, but I can't seem to get it out. I can still hear it inside the scale. Maybe I just need to shake it some more.
