Default Pics from the weekend.

Ignored the unfavourable weather forecast and packed up the tent and headed west.

nice images. I see you are tenting so good for you. There were alot of trailers this weekend at the Atlas staging area and the old road at Emerald Lake by the waterfall. I think alot of people are just wanting to get out even if it is sitting in their trailers.

We enjoy tenting. Life gets pretty hectic lately and keeping things basic keeps us relaxed. We enjoy leaving the rat race and being able to travel no matter what the road conditions. Having a 30ft trailer in tow to sit in a glorified mobile home park wouldn't be enjoyable for me.

That's the best places to camp, we haul 30ft trailer but we get it into the bush. Made for scratches, always dry camp. Never been in a camp ground in my life. Looks like a great place, nice looking lake. We are from BC and do most camping there. I have hard time finding nice lakes here to camp at, that are not campgrounds. Thanx for sharing

Wow, looks like a phenomenal weekend. I didn't make it out, but my 2 year old asked me enough times on Saturday to go camping that we had to set up the tent in the yard for Saturday night.

Not quite the scenery you had, hahaha.

No different scenery but I think it makes a case for what a good father you are..... Very cool!

Hahaha, thanks for the kind words.

Trying to teach her to be an outdoors girl, but living in Edmonton that means that we often don't have to drive to get to the real outdoors. Saturday was fishing at the trout pond and sleeping in the backyard, close enough for her, haha.

She crawled out of her sleeping bag at 7AM, pushed me and said "let's go fishing again", so I guess it's working so far, lol.
