Default Beware of that MR. "petew" Stickbow guy !!

His nasty habits are Contagious...lol

After reviewing some of Pete's outstanding reviews here and on his own website and also talking to Pete and listening to his wisdom... I couldnt help myself and ordered not one... but two sweet shooters...

Not only did Pete share his knowledge but he was even gentlemen enough to let me have his new Lil Sioux bow that just came in... ha ha
If he remains to be a nice guy he will never have one ...lol

http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=167577

The 54" Bearpaw Little Souix

Then I talked to Dennis at Git-R-Done Archery who deals with the bows and ordered a second one..a different version of the Lil Sioux described to me by Pete,....prices are unbelieveably affordable for such quaility bows with a unheard of 30 year warrenty

She is one of three in the world and all three are here in Alberta...
At my 28" draw she will be in that 55 lb range and perfect for my draw and poundage..
It will be different hunting with a bow that my bottle of water weighs more than my bow.. lol

I think I will have to name her *Baby Sue*
I am pumped and cant wait...She is on the way as I write this

Neil

The man is a trouble maker. I got one too. Great guy to shoot the bull with. Come to the Calgary longbow shoot in April.

Thanks guys. I hated to hand it off to Greyhound, But It seemed like the right thing to do. Dumb decision actualy. This is the second time I ley a 50# Sioux get away from me. I ever even got to see or shoot the first one. At least this time I shot it.
Good news is there is a new one being made for me, and this time it stays with me.!!
The new one is called the Blackfoot.
I discussed the posibility of some changes to the Sioux with Dennis at Git-r-donearchery,and Henry Bodnick, the owner of Bearpaw , and he has agreed to build an Alberta version for Dennis to sell. The updated version will cost a bit more, but it will have a black Phenolic riser, which is almost bulletproof, It will have Bamboo limbs with Stabil-core carbon, for added stability/performance and durability. The limbs will be toped off with black glass . Yes it will be a black beauty built special for hunting in pop up blinds, and it is officaly named for Alberta. It is called the "Blackfoot", keeping with the native theme of it's original design, the Sioux.
There have been 4 Blackfoots ordered from Germany, and I think 3 been spoken for. One Is for me!! and it is not being sold this time.

Good news is I have 2 other Bearpaws on the way from Germany now. I should have them at Dart on Friday.
One is the 52" Kiowa, {This one draws to 30"}

The other is the 62" big Bear 3 piece.
