Default Trapping course

I'm not a trapper, and I don't really plan on becoming one.

However I grew up in the foothills and continuously spend my time outside. I'd be interested in taking the trapper's course just to have some more knowledge about that sort of thing.

what's the cost of the course and what exactly does it teach?

There are many different "classes" on this, including one held by the ATA and Trapper Gord's Wilderness College: http://www.albertatrappers.com/trapper-courses.html To my knowledge the mostly teach about humane trapping and handling of animal pelts, but there is more in depth details in the link. They are not exactly cheap, I believe that trapper Gord's is in the $600 range and the ATA price is around $300 but don't quote me on those prices. Again all this info will be at that link and there are sign up sheets as well. Hope this helped! Good luck!
