Where's that beating a dead horse smilie...

With PITW's logic, we should get rid of airbags, abs, seat belts, crumple zones, radial tires, horns, and mirrors because some independent gov't funded study told us they were safer, but hey, it's the NPD fault.

see now i'm going to have to disagree. while skillets provide a great platform to cook bacon slowly, controlled and evenly; a griddle is going to cook an entire pack of bacon.

if you get yourself a really high quality griddle you can even cook your eggs as the bacon grease drains over them.

The real problem here is that they put the eggs in a different aisle and you have to walk across the store after picking up the bacon, that is damn frustrating, why can't they just put them together as a package.

By the logic of the OP...

Rumble strips do millions of dollars in damages....

What about head-on collisions, don't they wreck vehicles...

By that logic people should stop using signal lights because it wears out the bulb... or brakes because it wears out the pads, just crash into nearest object to stop.... and save your brake pads...

What an idiotic thing to complain about....

I have a different tactic, I ask the girl to get something from the back seat than jump on the brakes...Its super funny....until she regains composure. Then she beats the crap out of me

I suggest the Kirkland brand from costco. Nice thick slices, ziplock opening and delicious. The evils of rumble strips to the struggles of bacon. This may be the funniest thread yet. The OP cannot be serious about his dislike, I think he just has advanced trolling techniques.

Bad idea... he crapped the seat..... I could not have done that with rumble strips...

The other thing, and not to discount the importance of bacon is - how do they get the cheese wrapped in that cellophane? And why does it always break off straight across a third of the slice when I'm making the kids a grill sandwich.

Gawd I hate that ....

Rumble strips would, however, cause a problem is you were trying to make a grill cheese and bacon sandwich while driving.

I think we just found pitw's issue... He keeps getting splashed with grease from the bacon he's cooking while driving.. It wasn't about the car, it was about the damage it causes to the bacon.

PITW.. I feel your pain.. I'll sign your petition, and fight your fight..

The real problem using cling wrap or saran wrap. When ya get a piece of it it just sticks to itself! I can hardly maintain composure from this vile substance.....all I am trying to do is preserve some leftover pork chops! When they go bad due to lack of sufficent cover in the fridge, I go to get more tasty pork snacks from the store and I enconter MORE RUMBLE STRIPS!!! Gawd I lose my mind!

hmm...

I like to eat healthy so I will scramble some eggs and cheese in the bacon fat. I don't do it regularly, roughly once a month.

On my 12 inch skillet I can cook about 6 strips a time. Sadly they rarely make it to the plate...

I do have a griddle.. I may need to bust it out this weekend and do a side by side comparison..

I think we can both agree that cooked Bacon looks like rumble strips!

They now have roads that use rumble strips to play tunes. Maybe that would calm those down who dont like em. Just drive posted speed and be calmed. I can see some might pull their hair out over this one. lol.

They got em in Japan. In New Mexico on route 66 it plays "America The Beautiful" if you slow down and maintain the speed limit only. They are experimenting on slowing drivers up.

Google "musical roads". Im no good at this pasting stuff.

Already talked about in this thread:
(I always chuckle how most threads only get the first two or three posts read, then it's )

LMFAO! Never laughed so hard in a long time. Really liked the 90 degree turn to the bacon strips was funny, but the 180 degree turn to the trauma doll! Seriously funny.....

Pure genius here!
