Default Prairie Creek

Just wondering what the water conditions have been like on Prairie as I'm thinking about heading out that way tomorrow. I heard from a couple friends that very low levels have been recorded.

the conditions were excellent last i was there. not being a regular visitor to prairie i can't say for sure what the water level is compared to other years but it seems just about right. fish were picking the occasional Skwala off the surface. on the RDR the Skwalas were returning to the water, trout were either full or AWOL.

Default Low Flows?

Flows are looking alarmingly low compared to annual averages shown on the Alberta Environment chart at the link below. Do you think there is something wrong with the metering station or is it actually that low right now?

Thoughts?

now that someone else mentioned it I was out at dogpound creek around the end of April and noticed that most of the snow that normally is along the banks was gone. Majority of the pools were open as well we may be in for a dry one this year.
