Default Mail Order Tying Supplies?

Hey guys,

People who live in the bigger cities probably don't run into this problem. Lately it seems that WSS and Canadian Tire/Wal Mart (my only options) only seem to have the hooks I want in the sizes I don't need. WSS covers the rest of the tying materials pretty well but they are no good without hooks to tie them on.

Anyone have any experience with mail ordering hooks (and possibly tying materials)? I'm aware that I could probably pay full price or better and get them somehwere but I am hoping for some kind of deal or bulk discount even. Just looking for some new websites to browse for options in the future.

Thanks.

Living in a centre that has next to nothing I have had the same search as you. Lots of online places to order but with the price for shipping my search became on for " what online store can be my one stop place". I settled on this place, they are competitive in price although not the cheapest, but mostly have everything in stock or can get it quickly. If I need something right now I check with the fishinhole to see if they have it in stock. I still don't like the way fishin holes website is laid out as they have a lot of stuff that is not on the site, but they are very friendly and in Canada so shipping is a little better. But when I have a big order Bob Marriots is my supplier.

Im a huge supporter for canadian llama company. Always great service, and they throw in some extra goodies for every order. When they're located in BC(spring through early fall) it takes maximum 3 days to get my stuff.

They have the cheapest beads, and their hooks are really decently priced. Usually you can get 100 premium quality hooks for 15-17 bucks. Instead of 5-6$ per pack of 25. Not a huge savings, but if you're looking to tie a lot of a specific size, it does add up in the long run.
