Looking to spend maybe saturday with my family at kananaskis lakes...but I haven't been there before (New Calgarian). Of course fly fishing is in the "to do" list....Someone know what the conditions are now either the upper or lower? is good to go fishing? what's the best one? upper? lower?....I hope the ice fishing season is done there.
Yes really.They were still froze over May Long last year,just starting to let go around the edges,and last Spring came earlier then this year I'd say?

Yes the area where water comes from the upper to the lower through the turbines is called the interlakes since 1955 when they built the Interlakes Powergeneration plant.
