Default Engraving a rifle, refinish?

We are giving a Henry golden boy 22 as a gift and were thinking we would like to engrave it. On the stock was thought of but will need refinished. Is there anyone around that does that kind of work? The other option is to engrave on the action, will that need refinished? rust proofed? again is there someone that can do that work? Are there any other ideas on how to make the rifle a momento?

I understand the new Calgary Shooting Centre has an engraver on site.

Talk with my neighbor JR. He may be able to help you. Jackie Chan liked the shooters in "Shanghai Noon" enough to keep them.
