Default Maps of Trout Lakes

Tis snowing so.....

I went looking at stocking reports on My Wild Alberta and they now have info on the lakes stocked.

Look for: https://mywildalberta.ca/fishing/fis...king-maps.aspx

I find it easier to use the "List" rather than the little dots to figure out the lake I want to view. Lots of info on the lake area, directions for access etc.

The lake maps are located at the bottom of the info. Easy to miss, The map link is Bathymetric Map in "blue"

Here are several examples of the types of lake maps provided. Some are very detailed.

Default No restock of Bear Pond or Big Iron?

Thanks for the Info Don!

Not sure if you know but thought I would ask. I heard that both Bear Pond and Big Iron were winter killed this year, but I don't see them on the stocking list. Have they just given up on those ponds?

Hi,

I " think " the maps are all about trout. No sure it captures other species.
I'll see what I can find out.

Regards,

Don

Hi all,

I sent along an email to the person responsible for the maps and commented that the Bathymetric Lake map should be moved from the bottom of the page to near the top.

Is there any other changes that the web guys can do ( within reason ) that would make the maps more useful to Angler's?

Regards,

Don
