Default Lost lanyard: Red Deer R near Penhold

Hi guys:

Took off my lanyard while changing flies last week, and forgot to put it back on. Has nippers, aquel floatant, and an Amadou dry fly patch on it.

Lost it downstream of the Penhold bridge on the east side of the river. Not more than 150m, along the shore (there's a trail going through the grass). We were parked at the A-Soo-Wuh-Um day use area.

If anyone found it, wouldn't mind getting it back. Cheers.

Smitty

smitty9: Bummer about your lanyard. A few years ago I fished the exact stretch that you're describing for goldeye. It was a gas. Did you catch anything there?

Caught one rockie. No goldeye, we were on our way to BC, so we only stopped for a few hours. My dad actually just wanted to practice his euro-nymphing.

Default Lost lanyard

Was done there the last couple of days. Thought it would be good to be the one who could return it to you. Looked in the place you described, but sorry, no luck.
