Dear: Bearpaw Products
Thank you so much for your generous donation of products to the Alberta Traditional Bowhunters Associations, 2013 – 2014 Techno Hunt Events.
I would like to share little information about our event: Hunting season had long pasted, Christmas rush was over, too cold to shoot out doors, got dark early and it was the time of year the A.T.B.A. needed something to bring everyone together. The result was a Techno Hunt Season. This Techno Hunt interactive technological game provides us with an interface of video content that is both fun and challenging, while allowing shooting practice with your own traditional bow and arrows. It also provides us with a place to share hunting stories, share some skills with others and show our youths how much fun this life style can be.
As you know, Traditional Archery is more than just gear; it’s a lifestyle for many. Your equipment represents the traditional with a modern flair.
With the events we put together, we endeavour to promote and preserve the historic and cultural importance of the traditional bow and arrow, and foster opportunities for members and non members to gather for the purpose of camaraderie and fellowship.
What we feel makes us a bit special, is our focus on hunting with age old techniques and traditional equipment, which we can ascribe as a “traditional lifestyle” .We hold events that are open to everyone whom wishes to shoot a traditional bow. We freely share our knowledge with the new archers of tomorrow, our youth, and some that are older but are embarking on a new challenge. As we play side by side with them, they learn, as we do, what makes our sport very special. Rarely is there a sport that a whole family can enjoy together.
The look on a young person’s face when they get receive a door prize is priceless. Donations such as the ones you provided, fosters a strong bond with traditional archery, and helps promote the social and ethical values we strive to emulate.

Bearpaw Products from Germany and Git-r-donearchery our Bearpaw distributor in Canada were generous enough to donate 3 bows , and several gloves, arm guards, quivers, arrows, and many more items to the ATBA this winter for our final Friday Techno Hunt league. I think a public thank you as well as the nice letter mark wrote is appropriate.
