Sort of.... I texted a buddy who's a Flames fan "So, how's your night going?" This was right after they lost 4-1. Not a minute later NJ scores the 3rd goal and 7 seconds later they score the 4th.

Karma is a b**** sometimes.

I believe teams play harder for different goaltenders.
I also believe you win some you lose some.
Who knows…….
Moving on…….

Are you suggesting they play harder for Skinner vs Campbell?

I don't know if that is true or not, but Campbell has to stop letting in 4+ goals every game, that I do know.

^^^This^^^^
Why didn’t Woodcroft yank him after the second period or the third soft goal?

Why the hell is Dustin Schwartz still a goalie coach for this team? How many head coaches has he worked for. 4 maybe 5 or 6.

But I do believe some goaltenders change the psyche of teammates. Which reflects on play.
Just a theory

Personally I think Campbell has a gambling problem.
I believe he gets a dopamine release from flashing red lights.

Team needs to play defence in front of Campbell. Floating around in your own end hoping hey cough up the puck so you can break out McDavid doesn’t work as often as they think.

Tighten up the D and Oilers are formidable.

Penalties and the PK killed us, we were 0 - 1 on the PP and the caps were 4 - 5 on the PP at even strength we out outscored them but the special teams killed us, special teams are a huge part of the game unless you can stay out of the box

Default Team Defense

After all these years hearing everyone complain about the Oilers Defense and goaltending, same old same old.Defense is a TEAM game not for everyone else to play and McDavid and Draisaitl play how they want. This team will never win a stanley cup until they decide to help out defensively. Yeah they score half there points on the power play but take a look how many times they get scored on.Leon needs to grow up and quit throwing up his hand after every goal against that is a terrible team player. He yaps on every press conference about this maybe he should move his ass out there and play some D.

The amount of blood spurting out has me thinking he cut an artery. Hopefully not a tendon. Those are very tuff to recover from if at all.

Yup
That looked like an artery cut

Which means tendons slashed too

I’m no expert but that likely was cut right thru to the bone tendons and all. Scary scene. Fact they are still playing would indicate injury is not life threatening thankfully. What type a recovery if a recovery at all time well tell.

I'll wait and see what the doctors have to say tomorrow after he has surgery tonight, but I agree it did not look good.

Well on the bright side the flamers extended their loosing streak to 6 games

You gonna celebrate Flames losing streak? Oh, man, Karma.

Not that I will ever feel sorry for Kane.
